Kotak Mahindra Bank expands Gold Eternity range

Chennai, Jan 18: Buoyed by its success in the first three months of its launch, Kotak Mahindra Bank today expanded the 'Gold Eternity' range further introducing gold coins and bars in five, eight and 20 gm denominations.

The Gold Eternity was launched by renowned actor Shobhana.

Speaking at the launch, Head-Retail Liabilities and Branch Banking K V S Manian said the coins and bars carried assay certification of 99.99 per cent purity, signifying the highest level of purity as per international standards.

''Within the first three months of the launch of 50 gm and 100 gm bars, we have exceeded our expectations, selling about 175 to 180 kg of gold as against targeted 100 kg.

''With the launch of coins and bars in new denomination of five, eight and 20 gms, we are planning to sell 300 kg of gold by the end of March this year,'' he added.
