IAF Jaguar crashes in Rajasthan, pilot killed

Jaisalmer, Jan 18: An IAF Jaguar aicraft today crashed in this district of Rajasthan, killing the pilot.

Jaisalmer SP Navjyoth Gogoi said Flight Lt Renold Kevin Sherarowas killed when the fighter plane, on a training flight, crashed in afield in Delasar village of Chandhan area, about 45 km from thedistrict headquarters.

The plane, which took off from the Naal airstrip in Bikaner, crashed at about 1600 hrs.

Senior police and district administration officials rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.
