Haryana BJP to campaign in Punjab, Uttarakhand
Kurukshetra, Jan 18 (UNI) Haryana BJP leaders will campaign for the BJP candidates in the assembly elections in Punjab and aUttArakhand.
Besides, all the active party workers residing in the bordering areas touching Punjab will work for the BJP candidates in various adjoining constituencies, Haryana BJP chief A P Manchanda told reporters here.
Mr Manchanda said the state party leaders would be deputed for Punjab poll campaign after consultation with the party high command but the party activists would work for BJP candidates in the neighbouring Punjab areas ''as and when they are free.'' He said the BJP would launch an agitation from January 29 to 31 against the Haryana government for its ''anti-people policies and activities.'' Demonstrations would be held at major towns on the issues of deteriorating law and order situation, price hike of essential commodities and sale of agricultural land to the industrialists at throw-away prices. The programme would be followed by dharnas at all the district headquarters from February 1 to 20.
