CPI(M) not prepared for a third front

Imphal, Jan 18 (UNI) The Manipur CPM unit secretary Y Mohendra said they were not yet prepared for the formation of a 'Third front'.

He said the committee of like-minded political parties was held under the chairmanship of state Samajwadi Party president Dhananjaya and the possibility of formation of a 'Third Front' was still under consideration.

Mr Mohendra further said the imperative need for the adjustment of seats among the candidates of the political parties forming the committee was more important than forming a third front.
