Bomb scare at UCO bank

Kolkata, Jan 18 (UNI) Panic gripped the Jadavpur branch of UCO bank today after the detection of an unclaimed small box inside the building.

Bank sources said the box detected by the bank security on the landing of the staircase of the building at Jadavpur area in the southern fringe of the city, triggered a panic among the customers, sources said.

Police personel have evacuated the bank staff and other people from the building and informed the bomb disposal squad.
