BHEL secures Rs 130 crore order from HZL

Tiruchirapalli, Jan 18: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has secured a Rs 130 crore order from Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL) for setting up a captive power plant (CPP).

According to BHEL's house journal, HZL had placed an order for the 80 MW CPP to meet the power requirements of its Jawar Mines at Rajasthan.

The order covers design, engineering, manufacture, erection and commissioning of the power plant, it said.
