Berger Paints opts for Oracle Applications

New Delhi, Jan 18: Berger Paints has selected Oracle Applications to manage its operations across nine manufacturing units and its 10,000-strong dealer network across India.

With the help of Oracle Applications, Berger Paints expects to reduce product development cycle time and introduce new products faster into the market, in line with it's goal to keep pace with changing customer preferences.

''Oracle has proven itself to be a single vendor with a complete stack of products to address the applications, middleware and database requirements of Berger Paints India,'' said Mr Subir Bose, Managing Director, Berger Paints.

The company will use Oracle Applications modules including Advanced Supply Chain Planning, Trade Management, Process Manufacturing, Procurement, Financials, Order Management, Logistics and Human Resources Management.

With Oracle Applications, Berger Paint aims to streamline its supply chain, optimise inventory utilisation, track effectiveness of sales promotions and enhance customer service.
