Benchmark AMC gets SEBI nod for gold scheme

Chennai, Jan 18: Securities Exchange Board of India has issued its approval to Benchmark AMC to launch the Gold Exchange Traded Scheme (ETF).

This will be an open-ended exchange traded scheme tracking the price of gold through investments in physical gold, a release here today said.

The minimum amount of investment for cash was Rs 10,000 and in multiples of Rs 1000 thereafter.
