Abhishek case adjourned to Feb 1

Ranchi, Jan 18 (UNI) Jharkhand High Court today was up to February one the case regarding Abhishek Mishra's death after the government submitted the case diary of his death as per an order of the court.

A division bench comprising Chief Justice Muthuswamy and Justice Permod Kohli passed the order while hearing a writ petition.

The court had also directed the advocate general to file the factual report in this connection.

Earlier, on January eight the photographs and CDs of Abhishek Mishra were also submitted before the court by Rajeev Ranjan who had been appointed amices curie by the court.

The court had taken a suo motu action of the case after receiving a letter from the deceased's father, a doctor at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi.

Mr Mishra wrote letter to the Chief Justice after the police declared that the death was caused due to drowning in the Dasam Fall away from here.

Abhishek had been to Dassam falls on December eight last along with his freinds, including Ragini, Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad's daughter.
