20-Kg IED defused in Kishtwar, Doda

Jammu, Jan 18 (UNI) Army today averted a major tragedy when they detected a 20-kg improvised explosive device (IED) on National Highway-1B in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir today, an army spokesman said.

A road opening party (RoP) of 63 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) detected a plastic paint container carrying an IED on the NH-1B at Basti, 5 kms south of Kishtwar in Doda this morning, army spokesman Col D K Badola told UNI
