Wipro Q3 net rises to Rs 738.9 crore

Mumbai, Jan 17 (UNI) Wipro Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 738.9 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as against Rs 505.1 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005.

Announcing the results, the company said its total revenues has increased from Rs 2503.7 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 3651.1 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.

As per the Consolidated Results, the Group has posted a net profit of Rs 765.4 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 543.5 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005.

Total Revenues has increased from Rs 2743.9 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 3979.0 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
