Wipro joins Infosys in ensuring high security

Bangalore, Jan 17: The IT Major Wipro Technologies, has accorded high degree of attention to leverage its security infrastructure both in Physical and Electronic equipments, following inputs received from the state government against the possible terrorist attack on its headquarters, Wipro Chaiaman Mr Azim Premji informed here today.

Expressing gratitude to the State Government on the security alert how however found that there was no reason for any concern about the threat and said "we are quite safe".

Mr Suresh Senapaty, Chief Finance Officer (CFO) said the company has taken all measures to upgrade its security arrangements and informed that the Wipro premises in the Electronic City was power fenced and no vehicles would be allowed inside without proper check.
