Weather condition improves slightly

Gangtok, Jan 17 (UNI) The weather condition in the capital town and its surrounding areas today slightly improved with the rise in minimum and maximum temperature.

While the minimum temperature went up to 3.5 degree Celsius today from 2.6 degree yesterday the maximum temperature rose to 5.5 degree Celsius from that of yesterday's 4.3.

The local weather office predicted that the minimum temperature tomorrow is likely to be around 3 degree celsius. The sky will remain generally cloudy with light to moderate rain. There would be moderate fog in some areas.
