Tyre burst delays Indian flight
Bhopal, Jan 17 (UNI) Indian's Mumbai-Delhi via Bhopal flight IC 133 was stranded at the airport here this morning following a tyre burst during landing.
Airport sources said 92 passengers and the crew members had a miraculous escape and nobody was injured as the tyre inflated while parking at 0810 hours.
Indian's Station Manager Firoze Khan told UNI that an additional aircraft with spares and maintenance team was on its way here from Delhi to repair the stranded aircraft and to ensure onward journey of the passengers, who were temporarily lodged in hotels. The flight was expected to be normalised this afternoon, Mr Khan said.
