Two BSF men wounded in Pak Rangers' firing
Jammu, Jan 17 (UNI) Two BSF personnel, including a Sub-Inspector, were seriously injured when Pakistan Rangers opened fire in order to facilitate an infiltration bid at Pargwal in Akhnoor early today, official sources said.
Pakistan Rangers started firing at BSF posts at 0240 hrs to provide cover to nearly a dozen militants trying to infiltrate into the Indian territory, a BSF spokesman said.
The BSF also retaliated and in the ensuing firing, sub inspector Avinash Chandra and jawan Hridesh Kumar were seriously wounded.
Both the injured were shifted to the Army Hospital here.
