Three OWGS arrested, cache recovered in Doda

Doda, Jan 17 (UNI) Security forces have arrested three overground workers of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Toiba (LET) from bhaderwah while a militant hideout was unearthed in the forests of Ramban tehsil in this mountainous district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said today.

The workers, Jaffar Hussain, Muzaffer Hussain and Muneer Ahmed, were arrested by Doda police, SSP Manohar Singh told UNI.

They were being questioned by the police, he added.

In a joint search operation early today, troops of 58 RR, BSF and police recovered a 60 MM mortar and pika gun from a militant hideout 20 km west of Ramban in Doda, an Army spokesman said.
