Ten houses gutted in Dimapur

Kohima, Jan 17 (UNI) Altogether 35 families were rendered homeless when ten thatched houses were reduced to ashes in a devastating fire that broke out in Unite North Block 'A' in Dimapur town last night police today said.

Police suspected that the fire broke out from an LPG gas cylinder leak, but some locals suspected that it might have been caused by a candle in a house.

The fire immediately engulfed the entire house and finally the area.

However, no casualty was reported.
