Singapore external trade at $ 810 bln in '06

Singapore, Jan 17 (UNI) Singapore's external trade remained robust at 810 billion dollars in 2006 as compared to the preceding year's 716 billion dollars, a growth of 13 per cent.

It was marginally lower than the 14 per cent growth recorded the previous year, this was officially announced today.

Both exports and imports contributed to the increase in external trade by growing 13 and 14 per cent respectively in 2006.
