SBS expands 'pay roll processing' outsourcing

Chennai, Jan 17: Sundaram Business Services (SBS), the BPO arm of Sundaram Finance Limited has signed outsourcing agreements in payroll processing space with two global companies.

A release from the company here said a German headquartered company and a leading Danish firm, both in the manufacturing sector, have outsourced their pay roll processing function to SBS.

Executive Director and Head-SBS P S Raghavan said "with companies increasingly focusing on their core areas of expertise to drive business expansion and achieve rapid growth, SBS believes that there is a lot of potential for outsourcing in the payroll space in India." "With a strong focus in the BFSI space, SBS' 'Non-Voice' support service offerings, include high-end accounting services, credit processing, deposit processing, employee administration and insurance-related processing services, in addition to payroll processing," he added.

SBS is in the process of hiring over 200 professionals, including qualified accountants and management graduates in Chennai this year, he said adding "our deep domain expertise in the financial services space will help simplify the whole process of payroll outsourcing for companies in India, that have a huge employee base.
