RJD MLA sent to jail

Latehar, Jan 17(UNI) Jharkhand's Rashtriya Janata Dal legislator Prakash Ram was today sent to jail in connection with a 16-year-old attempt to murder case at Sikini colliery under the district's Chandwa police station.

The RJD MLA, along with 50 others in 1990, allegedly made attempts to murder employees at the Sikini colliery and damaged three machines there.

In this connection non-bailable warrant was issued against 30 accused, including Prakash Ram, in November last.
