Jammu, Jan 17 (UNI) Leader of Opposition in Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Abdul Rahim Rather today claimed that his party National Conference would bring a ''no-confidence motion'' against the state government at the appropriate time.

Mr Rather said the Bill, which was passed yesterday with the support of People's Democratic Party (PDP), the main partner of the coalition government, has exposed the ''indifferences'' within the coalition.

''The coalition government does not have a unified stand on any of the issues. They are divided in the House and they have proved it yesterday when the lower House passed a private Bill proposed by NC MLA Mehboob Baig,'' he said.

''We had not asked the PDP to support us on the Bill. They did it on their own,'' Mr Rather said. However, he said he would keep his statement reserved on when they would bring a ''no-confidence motion'' against the government.

Yesterday, the Congress, which is heading the coalition government, faced ''embarrassment'' in the Assembly as its PDP partner along with two Cabinet Ministers and one Minister of state joined hands with the Opposition to get a private member Bill passed in the House.

Two members of PDP also supported the Opposition Bill while the National Panthers Party (JKNPP) abstained from it during the crucial voting.
