MPSEB Inter-region Tennis Championship

Jabalpur, Jan 17 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board's Inter-region Tennis Championship men's singles title has been won by A K Alang of the Central Office, Jabalpur.

The three-day event, which concluded on January 14 at Betul district's Sarni and was organised by the MPSEB's Central Sports and Arts Council, witnessed Alang pipping Jabalpur Region's Mridul Khare in straight sets 6-4, 6-3.

The doubles title went to Khare-Yashwant Shiledar who beat Alang-N S Raghuvanshi 3-6, 6-4, 7-6. In the team event, Jabalpur Region vanquished defending champions Central Office.
