Mobile cost youth his life

Jaipur, Jan 17 (UNI) A youth killed his friend over a mobile phone at Sirohi district in Rajasthan.

According to police, Rooparam, who had been working in Mumbai, had come to his village in Nithoda a few days ago.

He proudly showed his mobile, having FM Radio facilities, to his friends.

One of his friends Kisna (16) was so facinated by the ''wonder instrument'' that he made plans to get rid of Rooparam to take posession of the gadget.

Kisna took Rooparam to some deserted place and hit him on the head with a stick.

Rooparam died on the spot and Kisna fled from the scene with the mobile.
