It is just a drama: BJP
New Delhi, Jan 17 (UNI) The BJP today described as a "cheap drama" the withdrawal of support by the Congress to the Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh, staged on the eve of election.
BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar said the withdrawal of support by the Congress at this time had ''no meaning'' and ''no impact''.
The BJP had been demanding the imposition of President's rule in the state because of deteriorating law and order situation and total breakdown of administration. But the Congress led UPA Government paid no heed to the demand.
Now on the eve of election the Congress withdrawing the support to the Mulayam Singh Yadav government would have no conviction among the people who would treat it as Congress gimmick only, he said.
