Hindu convention in Hubli on Jan 29
Hubli, Jan 17 (UNI) An one-day Hindu convention will be organised here on January 29 as part of the valedictory function of noted organiser late Madhavrao Golalkar's centenary celebration.
Informing this to newspersons here today, Convention Reception Committee chief Vijay Sankeshwar said over one lakh people were expected to participate in the convention, that would be attended by retired Justice and all India Shri Guruji (as he was popularly called) Centenary Celebration Committee Working President Rama Jois and several seers of the North Karnataka region.
He said the convention would deliberate on several issues, including untouchability, conversion, population imbalance, cow slaughter and terrorism.
