Half of 370 PMGSY roads poorly constructed: Raghuvansh
Ranchi, Jan 17 (UNI) Issuing a warning against those found gulity of not properly implementing Prime Minister Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), Union Rural Development Minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh today reiterated that the quality of work will not be compromised at any cost.
Addressing a press conference here, the Union Minister expressed concern over the ''poor'' construction and said half of the 370 PMGSY roads had been found unsatisfactory.
''We are receiving complaints and action will be initiated against those found guilty'', Mr Singh said.
The Centre had instructed the state government to keep tab on the proper implementation of the scheme and book erring officials in this regard.
