Four burnt alive as tanker rams into bus

Bangalore, Jan 17 (UNI) Two drivers and as many pedestrians were burnt alive when the diesel tank of a private bus caught fire after a milk tanker rammed into it at Athibele on the outskirts of the city, today.

However, all the 40 bus passengers escaped unhurt.

Police said the bus was coming to Bangalore from Hosur when the mishap occurred. While the deceased drivers were identified as Sureshkumar and I Bhagyaraj, the pedestrians were yet to be identified.

Some passengers who sustained minor injuries while getting down from the bus in a hurry following the incident were treated in a Government Hospital.
