Former BSP, RLD MLAs join SP

Lucknow, Jan 17 (UNI) Two former legislators -- one each of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) -- today joined the ruling Samajwadi Party (SP).

State PWD minister announced that BSP's Bhupinder Singh Kurmi and RLD's Jagbir Singh have joined SP. ''Their supporters would join the party in presence of the Chief Minister at rallies in their respective districts,'' he informed.

Talking to reporters, Mr Kurmi said the BSP was not respecting the common man anymore. ''All they need is money to get you a ticket...I am a hardcore politician, who wants to work for people,'' he said.
