Dr Rupatai Kulkarni receives Bhadrakali award

Kolhapur, Jan 17 (UNI) Veteran social worker Dr Rupatai Kulkarani was bestowed the ''Bhadrakali'' award at a function held here today.

Dr Kulkarni, who hails from Vidarbha, received the award at the hands of State Finance Minister Jayantrao Patil.

The biannual national-level award has been instituted by the Tararani Vidyapeeth, Kolhapur. Incepted in 1990, the award is presented to a woman social worker in recognition of her contributions.
