Blast in classroom leaves 6 students wounded
Varanasi, Jan 17 (UNI) At least six high school students of Janata Inter College in Mirzamurad area here were today wounded when a crude bomb exploded in their classroom.
Police said Pravin, Rishabh, Pritam, Wasim Akram, Jai kumar Singh and Jai Kumar were wounded, when a crude bomb exploded inside their classroom.
The crude bomb had been accidentally brought into the classroom by the same students, who picked it up from the playground thinking it was a cricket ball, police added.
The wounded had been admitted to a private nursing home.
Further investigations were on.
