Bihar govt announcee rehab package for Asom violence victims
Patna, Jan 17 (UNI) The Bihar government has announced a composite rehabilitation for people who have fled Asom following ULFA's attack on Hindi-speaking people in the state.
The package which had been prepared by the state rural development department, would provide jobs and shelter to the victims.
Rural Development Minister Baidyanath Prasad Mahto said Rs one crore had been sanctioned to each and every district and the rural development authority had been directed to arrange adequate fund under employment gurantee scheme in 15 districts.
He said for one of the eligible member of the affected families would be given job under employment gurantee scheme and be provided loan under self employment scheme.
