University bombings kill 60 in Baghdad-police

BAGHDAD, Jan 16 (Reuters) The death toll from two bombs near a university in eastern Baghdad today has risen to 60 people and another 110 were wounded, police said.

At least one of the blasts was a car bomb and one police source said the other may have been a suicide bomber. Many cars picking up students were on fire after the blasts at the gate of al-Mustansiriya University.
