Three held with ganja in AP

Vijayawada, Jan 16 (UNI) The city police arrested three persons hailing from Tamil Nadu and seized 40 kgs of ganja worth of Rs 40,000 from them.

On a tip-off, police raided a lodge in Gandhinagar and arrested A Aliyad (45), M Murugan (35) and Ramaterla (38), police sources told UNI.

The ganja was being transported from Paderu here, to their native village in Tamil Nadu.

The accused would be produced before the magistrate at the city court tomorrow, the sources added.
