Tension in Bussy Market

Puducherry,Jan 16(UNI) Tension prevailed here following an argument between government officals and traders at the Bussy Market today.

It was alleged some meat stall owners opened shops defying a government order which said they must be closed on Thiruvalluvar Day and Vallalar Jyothi.

When the officals came for an inspection they noticed the shops open and an argument ensued. Later they downed the shutters resulting in the argument.

Bussy MLA Anand intervened and pacified the traders.
