TCS Q3 PAT rises at 39.85 per cent
New Delhi, Jan 16: Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) today announced the net profit of the company rose to 39.85 per cent at Rs 950.52 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 679.65 crore for the corresponding period last year.
The total income of the company was posted at Rs 3849.69 crore for Q3FY07 as against Rs 2676. 85 crore for Q3FY06, a growth of 43.81 per cent Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Company, S Ramadorai said, ''TCS has become the first Indian IT Company to clock one billion dollars in revenues in a single quarter and has crossed the three billion dollars mark in the first three quarters alone,'' He further added this shows that TCS' full-services model is delivering sustained profitable growth quarter on quarter in the midst of a dynamic operating environment.
