Sudhakar Ram to step in as Mastek's new CMD

New Delhi, Jan 16: Mastek Ltd today announced Mr Sudhakar Ram will be appointed as its Chairman and Managing Director, in addition to his current role as Group CEO.

The move comes post the company's Executive Chairman Ashank Desai's decision to take on a Non-Executive role.

Commenting on this, Mr Ashank Desai said, ''I will continue to be active on the Board and be the chief ambassador of Mastek, representing the company in various industry and public forums.'' The company will seek necessary approvals for appointing Mr Sudhakar, who is a Non-resident, as the Chairman and Managing Director of the company.

The Board of Directors of the company have already approved the decision.
