Spanish national held in Dimapur

Kohima, Jan 16 (UNI) Dimapur police has arrested one Spanish national from the Deputy Commissioner's court area here yesterday.

Police today said the man identified as David Artigua Miralles was from Spain and was arrested for not possessing any documents relating to his nationality.

He also did not have any documents related to Restricted Area Permit (RAP) and Visa, police added.

Police also said there were some other complaints filed against him.

He had been kept in police custody after being produced in the Court and interrogation was on to ascertain his unauthorised visit to Nagaland.
