Six piligrims killed in road accident

Bangalore, Jan 16: At least six piligrims were killed and eightothers injured in a collision between their vehicle and a lorry atHattihal near Tiptur late this evening.

Police said that the accident occurred when the piligrims werereturning in a tempo from Dharmasthala to their native place ofMallasandra in Tumkur district. The injured have been rush to generalhospital Tiptur, the police said.

The victims included five womens and a driver.
