Rs 2 cr aid for devt of Navagraha Teertha: Yediyurappa
Hubli, Jan 16: Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has announced a financial aid of two crore rupees for the allround development of Navagraha Teertha, a pilgrimage centre on the outskirts of the city.
Speaking at the inaugural of the 11-day mahamastakabhisheka of 61-ft monolith statue of Bhagwan Parshwanath and eight other teerthankaras at Navagraha Teertha, yesterday he assured of all help to bring Navagraha Teertha on the international tourist map.
The Deputy Chief Minister also assured that he would personally speak to the Chief Minister and initiate action to withdraw the order for providing eggs to school children in their mid-day meal.
