Rio effects minor reshuffle in his ministry

Kohima, Jan 16 (UNI) Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has made a minor reshuffle in his four-year old ministry while filling up a vacant post of the Chairman in the Development Authority of Nagaland.

According to a notification to state secretary Lalhuma, the Chief Minister had assigned the additional portfolio of Geology and Mining and Printing and Stationary to N Yeangphong to assist the Minister of Printing and Stationary Kuzholuzo while relieving his from the Portfolio of Civil Administrative Works Department (CAWD).

The additional portfolio of CAWD has been assigned to Hewoto, Parliamentary Secretary with immediate effect.

Mr Rio also appointed MLA Torechu to the vacant post of the Chairman of the Development Authority with effect from the date he takes over charge, the notification said.
