RAK Airways chooses IBS solution

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 16 (UNI) The RAK Airways, the fourth national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has signed an agreement with the IBS Software Services here for next-generation aiRES Passenger Services System(PSS).

The aiREs provides airlines with innovative and flexible technical foundation to fully support their business with the efficiency needed to complete in today's ever-changing airline industry.

An IBS release said through its open architecture, aiRES would enable RAK Airways, the national carrier of Ras Al Khaimah, to broaden their customer service offerings by integrating their distribution channels with other travel services.

The new techonolgy also enables other important customer service functions, including self service capabilities on the web and at the airport, resulting in improved customer relationships and increased efficiency.

According to Mr V K Mathews, CEO and Managing Director IBS Group, the company was also providing automate airline operation solutions to the RAK Airways.
