Prime Minister leaves for Dibrugarh

Kolkata, Jan 16 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who arrived here last night from Cebu in Philippines, today left for Dibrugarh in violence-hit Asom.

The Prime Minister left the city by a special Indian Air Force plane accompanied by his wife Gursharan Singh, official sources said.

He was seen off by West Bengal chief secretary Amit Kiran Deb and other state government and police officials.

Dr Singh had came to the city from Philippines after attending the ASEAN and EAS summits.

UNI
