Policeman killed, 4 injured in road mishap

Allahabad, Jan 16 (UNI) A police personnel, deployed at the Ardh Kumbh Mela area, was killed and four others were injured in a road accident near the Allahabad High Court.

Police today said the speeding jeep on its way to the mela area hit a road divider and injured five policemen late last night.

The injured were rushed to hospital in a serious condition, where Circle Officer (CO) Ram Shiromani Pandey (45), succumbed to his injuries.
