NH 2 at Asansol subsides 9 inches

Asansol, Jan 16 (UNI) An area of 150 ft and 30 ft width land on National Highway 2 at Bogbandi village near here subsided today.

Sources said the part of the highway connecting Kolkata and Varanasi has subsided more than a foot early in the morning.

Traffic movement have been disrupted due to the incident.

However, no cases of casualty have been reported.

The officials of National Highway Authority of India have refused to give any statement regarding this.
