MP growth rate target set at 15 pc
Khajuraho, MP, Jan 16 (UNI) A meeting of the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Advisory Council, chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today, set 15 per cent as the state's targeted growth rate and took several decisions on utilising land belonging to closed units.
''Task forces will be formed for achieving this objective. Tax anomalies will be studied and an attempt made to get rid of them.
The government has decided to constitute a 'land pool' to facilitate easier allotment of plots to industry. Special education and health zones will be considered,'' Mr Chouhan assured.
A special officer would be appointed to look into investors' problems.
