MP Govt offers free land for educational institutions
Khajuraho, MP, Jan 16 (UNI) Exhorting NRIs to invest in education sector, the Madhya Pradesh government today offered free land to those interested in setting up educational institutions in tribal and backward areas.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan made this offer during talks with investors after formally inaugurating the two-day ''Investors Meet-2007'' at this tourist spot, famous for the erotic sculptures in temples built by the erswhile Chandela rulers around 10th century.
Under the free land offer, those setting up primary schools will be given one acre land, middle schools-two acre, higher secondary schools-three acre, polytechnics-five acre and colleges-10 acre.
