Noida, Jan 16: Even as the CBI sought information from public on the Nithari serial killing, two more polythene bags containing skeletal remains were recovered from the 'bada nullah' close to the D-5 'killer house' in Nithari village here, taking the total number of recovered bags to 42.

The appeal to the general public by the investigation agency comes in an advertisement, which is yet to be published, said CBI sources.

In the advertisement the CBI has sought any fact/information people have regarding the Nithari serial killing and asked to report it to its Noida camp office or its headquarters at Delhi.

Earlier in the day, CBI sleuths, conducting investigations at Nithari, found two polybags during a search operation in the drain.

The bags, 1ft X 1ft in size containing skeletal remains of the slaughtered children and women, were later sent for forensic examination.

Meanwhile, search operations in the drain and the closeby areas continued for the fifth day today.

Yesterday the CBI had disclosed that 40 such polybags had been recovered from the drains near the house in Sector 31 here.
