Kumaraswamy's copter develops technical snag

Bangalore, Jan 16 (UNI) HAL's Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv, carrying Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, today developed technical snag mid-air, forcing him to curtail his official visit to Bijapur and return to the city.

According to official sources, ten minutes after take off from the Jakkur air field here around 1015 hrs, the helicopter developed a technical snag and the pilot decided to return to Bangalore for a safe landing.

The sources said that besides Mr Kumaraswamy, his Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Krishnaiah and three crew members were on board the copter.
