Foundation to spread awareness on eye donation

Visakhapatnam, Jan 16 (UNI) As part of its continuing efforts to promote eye donation, the Delara Foundation today said it would distribute one lakh multi-coloured calendars with details of eye banks in Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing the media here, Foundation Trustee Satish Modi said the calendars will be printed in three languages and the project will cost Rs ten lakh.

Also, to spread awareness on eye donation, the foundation will distribute stickers and brochures in rural and agency areas with contact details and toll free numbers for eye donation printed on them.
