Ex-servicemen support Pak attack victims' families
New Delhi, Jan 16 (UNI) Ex-servicemen and kin of jawans killed in action today joined the families of Parliament attack victims, demanding execution of Mohammad Afzal Guru without further delay.
The ex-servicemen and kin of jawans also threatened to return their medals of honour to mount pressure for the execution.
The families along with the Anti Terrorist Front urged the President A P J Abdul Kalam not to pardon him and asked the government to carry out the capital punishment handed out by the Supreme Court.
Anti Terrorist Front chief Maninder Singh Bitta said Guru deserved no mercy.
''Do terrorists like Mohammad Afzal Guru deserve compassionate attention or pardon from the President? Is this not a ridiculous development that amounts to mockery of the highest court of law in the country,'' he asked.
